At the first round of the Super League Triathlon held on the Island of Jersey, six French athletes were at the start of the semi-finals this afternoon in the “shortened” Enduro format, which consisted of two triathlons of 300m swim, 4km bike, and 1.6km run, to be completed back-to-back.
Vincent Luis (winner of the 1st Super League Triathlon championship last March), Léo Bergère, and Pierre Le Corre were in Group A of the semi-finals, while Dorian Coninx, Aurélien Raphaël, and Anthony Pujades were in Group B.
The qualification rules for tomorrow’s final were as follows: the first 5 athletes from each semi-final directly qualified, as well as the next 5 best times from both semi-finals, for a final with 15 athletes.

Winner of his semi-final ahead of Belgian Marten Van Riel and Norwegian Kristian Blummenfelt, Vincent Luis qualified for tomorrow's final. Three other French athletes will join him: Léo Bergère (5th in the same semi-final), Pierre Le Corre (6th in this semi-final but qualified by time), and Anthony Pujades (3rd in the other semi-final won by New Zealander Hayden Wilde). However, it's over for Dorian Coninx and Aurélien Raphaël.
