GROUP A
Cassandre Beaugrand exited the first swim in the lead and broke away on the bike with Japan's Yuko Takahashi. Behind them, the reigning world champion and Super League Triathlon crown holder, American Katie Zaferes, led the chase to catch the escapees. The Japanese rider crashed at the start of the 4th and final bike lap. Cassandre Beaugrand continued her effort, holding a 15-second lead at T2 and starting the run alone. Émilie Morier and Sandra Dodet started in 5th and 6th position. At the end of the "mile" run, which she managed perfectly by pacing her effort, Cassandre Beaugrand re-entered the water to start her second triathlon with a 4-second lead over the American. Sandra Dodet was 5th, Émilie Morier 7th.
Up front, Cassandre Beaugrand and Katie Zaferes exited the water together. Their pursuers, led by Great Britain's Vicky Holland, were 16 seconds behind. Sandra Dodet exited the water in 6th place, 24 seconds back. Émilie Morier dropped out of the top 10. The two leaders took turns, and the gap remained at 25 seconds at the end of the bike. Cassandre Beaugrand had a better transition than Katie Zaferes and gained a 4-second lead at the start of the run, while Sandra Dodet positioned herself in 3rd place alongside Vicky Holland.

Cassandre Beaugrand won her semi-final ahead of Katie Zaferes. Sandra Dodet was 3rd, Vicky Holland 4th, and Taylor Spivey 5th. All five are directly qualified for tomorrow's final. Émilie Morier, the U23 world champion, finished 7th but was disqualified.
GROUP B
The fourth and final Frenchwoman in contention, Léonie Périault, exited the water in 8th place, 9 seconds behind Sophie Coldwell. At the end of the first bike lap, Italy's Alice Betto crashed in a left turn. Léonie Périault, who was coming up behind, couldn't avoid her and also crashed. A race incident that forced the Frenchwoman to ride far from the front of the race. Seventh at the finish of her semi-final, she still qualified on time for tomorrow's final.
