Team Bahrain-Merida changes its name and colors for the 2020 season, becoming Team Bahrain-McLaren and switching from a predominantly red and blue scheme to a combination of red and orange, with a blue stripe. The team managed by Brent Copeland also retains its technical partner for bikes, Merida, the world’s second-largest manufacturer in the cycling industry. Riders will continue to benefit from the lightweight Scultura and aerodynamic Reacto models for road races, and the aero Time Warp TT for time trials.

The other technical partners of Team Bahrain-McLaren will remain unchanged from the 2019 season, regarding the drivetrain (Shimano), handlebar-stem-seatpost components (FSA – Vision), saddles (Prologo), and bottle cages (Elite). However, the bikes will be equipped with Vision wheels, instead of Fulcrum as was the case last year.

In addition to the new bikes, Bahrain-McLaren also took the opportunity to unveil the new 2020 jersey, made by Le Col. Helmets and glasses will continue to be supplied by Rudy Project.
