TRIATHLON – Ironman 70.3 Lanzarote (W): Jeanne Collonge 3rd behind Emma Pallant and Alexandra Tondeur –

Jeanne Collonge took a strong 3rd place today at Ironman 70.3 Lanzarote (the swimming portion was canceled, see below), just over 3′ behind the winner.

The Frenchwoman was only beaten by Great Britain’s Emma Pallant (winner of this year’s Ironman 70.3 Pays d’Aix and Vichy) and by Belgium’s Alexandra Tondeur.

Due to weather conditions, the swimming portion was canceled. Athletes therefore started directly with the cycling portion.
