TRIATHLON – FFTRI GP Muret (M): Léo Bergère takes individual victory, but Poissy asserts its superiority

After Dunkerque, the 3rd stage of the 2019 French Triathlon Federation Grand Prix took place in Muret, Haute-Garonne, in an event transformed into a duathlon (5-20-2.5) due to a current that was too strong.

During the second run, Léo Bergère (Saint-Jean de Monts Vendée Triathlon), in great form having just won the mixed relay world championship title 3 weeks ago and preparing to leave for the Tokyo Test Event in a few days, accelerated in the lead group. The strong man of the moment did not falter and won his 2nd Grand Prix in a row after Dunkerque. Nathan Grayel (Tricastin Triathlon Club) took 2nd place after a good race, Luke Willian (Les Sables Vendée Triathlon) took the 3rd step of the podium.
