Nottingham hosted the 2nd stage of the World Mixed Relay Series today, with an eye on qualification for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
A relay triathlon transformed into a relay duathlon due to heavy rainfall throughout the week, which prevented the swimming portion from taking place.
This afternoon, the French team, reigning European champions, took 3rd place(as in 2018)behind the favorites,Great Britain and Switzerland.Arriving at T2 with Switzerland's Briffod while Great Britain's Yee was leading,Pierre Le Corre lost time putting on his shoes and was never able to close the gap.
The French relay team featured a new lineup with Émilie Morier,Dorian Coninx,Léonie Périault, and Pierre Le Corre.
