The French team won the European mixed relay title this Sunday in Weert, Netherlands. (Each relay member had to complete 300 m of swimming, 6.4 km of cycling, and 1.5 km of running). The team, composed of Sandra Dodet, Paul Georgenthum, Émilie Morier, and Léo Bergère (in relay order), successfully defended its crown, finishing ahead of Germany and the Netherlands. After Sandra Dodet’s silver medal in the Elite women’s race on Friday and the gold and silver medals of Juniors Paul Georgenthum and Boris Pierre on Saturday, the French team once again had a great harvest.
