Léo Bergère and Vincent Luis finished 4th and 5th respectively (in a sprint finish) in the first WTS event today in Abu Dhabi. The Frenchmen finished 14 seconds behind Spain’s Mario Mola, who beat Great Britain’s Alex Yee and another Spaniard, Fernando Alarza.
AND IT IS GOLD for Mario Mola in #WTSAbuDhabi – the World Champ put the hammer down with 750m to go and Alex Yee held strong for a magnificent silver in his first WTS appearance, Spain’s Fernando Alarza with bronze! Congrats @mariomola @Lixsanyee @Fernando_Alarza !! pic.twitter.com/t0X1IFNMhm
