As winter approaches, MyWhoosh is announcing several new features designed to refresh the indoor cycling experience. On the agenda: a rewards system, new virtual routes, fun workouts and an expanded race calendar, including the UCI Cycling Esports World Championships in December. The platform will also host a virtual ride with Tadej Pogačar on October 31.
MyWhoosh users will be able to ride with the Slovenian champion on Saturday, October 31. This moderate-pace community ride will be accompanied by a live Q&A session. Participants will be able to put their questions to Tadej Pogačar, with his answers shown on screen during the session.
The event will use a no-drop format, so that riders of different abilities can stay together and take part in the ride as a group.

The Vault: Kilometers for Rewards
In November, MyWhoosh will launch The Vault, a new rewards system that lets riders win virtual gear and items based on the distance they ride on the platform.
The principle is simple: every kilometer ridden earns a key. Once a rider has collected 100 keys, they can open a chest and discover their reward. For this first edition, running for six weeks, MyWhoosh has partnered with CYCPLUS and Scicon.
Prizes will include CYCPLUS AS2 Ultra electric pumps, heart rate monitors, a few T7 Smart Bikes connected bikes and Scicon sunglasses.
This first season will also be tied to the new Anti-Social Hours club, a nod to the workouts done early in the morning or late in the evening during the winter months. A virtual kit including outfit, bike and wheels in a retro style can be unlocked through the rewards system or a specific mission.
Islands of the World: Seven Virtual Destinations
MyWhoosh is also preparing the arrival of a new environment called Islands of the World. It will bring together seven regions inspired by island destinations: Mallorca, Hawaii, the Maldives, Santorini, the Canary Islands, Snow Hill Island and a fictional island named Skull Island.
Each area will offer a different visual identity and terrain profile, from rolling Mediterranean roads to flatter coastal routes and snowy landscapes. In total, nearly 58.7 km of new roads will be available for free rides, workouts and future events.

Zombie Workout: Turning Training into a Game
Another novelty planned for this winter: Zombie Workout, an experience built into MyWhoosh Arcade that reinvents interval training.
The rider moves through a dystopian world where a horde of zombies is chasing them. To escape, they must hit the power zones called for during the intervals in order to maintain their Humanity level. Insufficient power lets the zombies close in, while successful efforts recharge a shield that allows them to get past obstacles.
A visual indicator tracks progress throughout the session. One particularity: the workout requires you to manage your own power, without using the ERG mode of the indoor trainer. You therefore have to play with your gearing and adjust your effort to stay in the target zones.
A Race Every Day of the Week
MyWhoosh also intends to strengthen its competitive offering with a weekly calendar now built around regular fixtures:
- Monday: Rampage Racing
- Tuesday: Cycling Esports League
- Wednesday: Apex Racing
- Thursday: Chase Race
- Friday: Masters Racing
- Saturday: Quads Racing
- Sunday: Sunday Race Club
The Cycling Esports League will alternate between several formats, including road races, points races and individual time trials.
The Sunday Race Club will have a stricter level of verification, with prior registration, MyWhoosh Verified status and dual data recording. Prize money will be offered in all categories.
The UCI Cycling Esports World Championships on December 5
The winter calendar will culminate with the 2026 UCI Cycling Esports World Championships. The Elite men’s and women’s finals will take place on December 5, in a new two-heat format with points-based scoring.
The first heat will feature several surprise-scoring checkpoints, which will require riders to manage their positioning and effort well. The second will introduce a route-choice system: participants will have to weigh up different routes, depending on the points available and the energy needed to earn them.
The U19 juniors and Masters categories will also contest their world championships remotely on MyWhoosh, later in December.
The platform will also offer the Montréal circuit tied to the 2026 UCI Road World Championships, as well as the two virtual courses specially designed for the Esports Worlds.

A Platform That Keeps Evolving
These announcements are part of a series of improvements MyWhoosh has already begun. The Smart Workout Selector, for instance, makes it easier to choose sessions based on available time and goals, while Pulse News centralizes information on races, missions and community events.
Matt Smithson, MyWhoosh’s Esports & Game Operations Director, describes this lineup as the biggest the platform has ever offered for a winter season. The aim is to multiply the options so that users can alternate between structured workouts, competitions, group rides and exploring new environments.
Finally, MyWhoosh says it is working on its first physical hardware product, which should be unveiled later in the season.
