The Chinese brand Pardus becomes the bicycle partner of SA Vendée Cyclisme for the next three seasons. Starting in 2027, it will equip the entire organization led by Jean-René Bernaudeau, from the professional squads to the development squads.
Based in China’s Shandong province, Pardus continues its expansion into the European market by partnering with the Vendée-based organization. This partnership will cover the 2027, 2028, and 2029 seasons, providing equipment for the various teams of SA Vendée Cyclisme.
Riders will have three models at their disposal: the SPK EVO G4 and the ROBIN EVO G3 for the road, as well as the GOMERA EVO for time trials.
A partnership that also involves development
Created in 2000 by Jean-René Bernaudeau and based in Les Essarts, SA Vendée Cyclisme relies on a sporting project that combines top-tier performance with the development of young riders. Pardus will thus equip the entire organization, notably the professional squad, the CREF in the U19 category, and Vendée U – Primeo Energie in U23.
For the Chinese brand, this collaboration is intended to strengthen its presence in European cycling and to develop its products in close contact with riders and technical staff.
“This partnership will be a fantastic opportunity to share our technical expertise throughout the season, to continuously enrich our ranges through contact with athletes, and to durably strengthen Pardus’ presence at the heart of European cycling culture,” explains Terry Gong, the brand’s deputy general manager.
Pardus also notes that it builds on its experience with the Chinese national team, which it has supported since the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.
Evolving equipment in contact with riders
On the Vendée side, this tie-up should notably foster exchanges between riders, the performance department, and the manufacturer’s technical staff in order to tailor the equipment to the demands of competition.
Stéphane Heulot, general manager of SA Vendée Cyclisme, highlights the desire to build a lasting technical collaboration, with the goal of advancing products as closely as possible to the needs of the field.
For Pardus, this partnership represents a major step forward in its development at the highest international level on the road. For the Vendée structure, it opens a new collaboration with a manufacturer aiming to strengthen its presence in European cycling.
