Castelli Becomes an Official Partner of the Tour de France

The Italian brand Castelli will supply the leader jerseys for the 27 cycling races organized by Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO), including the Tour de France and the Tour de France Femmes with Zwift. This partnership marks Castelli’s return to supplying the leader’s jerseys for ASO’s major races.

Starting in 2027, Castelli will become an official partner of Amaury Sport Organisation’s (ASO) cycling events. The Italian brand will be responsible for designing and producing the distinctive jerseys for all 27 races and challenges involved, including the yellow, green, polka-dot, and white jerseys of the Tour de France, as well as those of the Tour de France Femmes with Zwift.

The agreement also covers the jerseys for other races organized by ASO, notably Paris-Nice, the Tour Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, and the Vuelta a España, as well as events for amateur cyclists such as L’Étape du Tour and the races associated with Paris-Roubaix and Liège-Bastogne-Liège. According to ASO, these events attract more than 80,000 participants each year.

A Return to the Tour de France After More Than 30 Years

This partnership marks a reunion between Castelli and the Tour de France. The brand had previously supplied the leader’s jerseys for the Tour de France between 1989 and 1994, a period during which they were worn by Greg LeMond and Miguel Indurain, among others.

“Once again, history meets the future,” says Yann Le Moënner, CEO of ASO, who highlights Castelli’s experience and expertise in meeting the riders’ needs.

For Steve Smith, global head of the Italian brand, producing the Yellow Jersey represents “the greatest honor there is” for a cycling apparel manufacturer. Castelli also intends to use this collaboration to develop clothing that prioritizes speed, comfort, and style.

The new jerseys for the Tour de France and the Tour de France Femmes with Zwift will be unveiled on October 22, 2026, during the presentation of the 2027 race routes. Additional designs and a clothing collection celebrating this partnership will be unveiled at a later date.
