Paris-Tours 2026, one of the season’s final major classics, will take place on Sunday, October 11, between Chartres and Tours over a distance of 216.2 km. Most of the race’s challenges are concentrated in the final third of the course, featuring nine climbs and ten vineyard paths, for a total of 10.5 km of unpaved sections—slightly more than in 2025. These exposed, nerve-wracking, and often decisive sections are expected to further narrow the field before the finish on Boulevard Béranger.
Last year’s winner, Italian Matteo Trentin, will be one of the riders to watch if he’s at the start. Already a three-time winner of the race, he could be aiming for a fourth victory in the “sprinters’ classic,” which, as the route winds through the vineyard paths, has become a true test of strength. To follow the race closely, check out the route map, the profile, the list of vineyard roads, the TV broadcast schedule, and the riders entered in this 120th edition.
