Engo3 Titanium: Smart Glasses Weighing Just 28.9 g

ENGO unveils the engo3 Titanium, a pair of smart glasses designed for cycling and running. With their 3D-printed titanium frame, they weigh just 28.9 g and offer over 24 hours of battery life, featuring a color HUD display showing more than 40 performance metrics.

ENGO introduces the engo3 Titanium, a new line of smart glasses designed for cyclists and runners. Their standout feature: a 3D-printed titanium frame that keeps the weight down to 28.9 g, while offering a battery life of over 24 hours. They also feature a color heads-up display (HUD) that lets users view their performance data without taking their eyes off the road.

As a specialist in smart sports eyewear, ENGO Eyewear takes a different approach with the engo3 Titanium compared to other smart glasses that incorporate cameras, speakers, microphones, or artificial intelligence features. The Grenoble-based brand has chosen to focus its technology on data display and battery life in order to keep the device as lightweight as possible.

28.9 g with 3D-printed titanium temples

The temples of the engo3 Titanium are manufactured in France from 3D-printed titanium, using a process inspired by the aerospace industry. The frame is designed and printed in Grenoble.

Weighing in at 28.9 g, ENGO touts them as the lightest augmented reality glasses currently designed for sports. The weight is comparable to that of many conventional sports glasses, even though the engo3 Titanium incorporates all the electronics needed for data display.

The decision not to include a camera, microphone, or speakers helps keep the weight and power consumption to a minimum. The temples are also adjustable horizontally and vertically, while the nose bridge can be adjusted to improve the fit.

A Head-Up Display for Performance Data

Like the other models in the engo3 line, the Titanium uses ActiveLook Light AR technology. A high-brightness color OLED HUD projects information into the athlete’s field of view, with readability claimed even in direct sunlight.

The interface is customizable via the companion app and can display over 40 metrics, including heart rate, pace, and cadence. The glasses can also display information related to structured workouts, particularly during interval training sessions, allowing the athlete to adjust their pace without having to check their bike computer or watch.

Navigation within the interface is primarily controlled via a double-tap sensor built into the glasses.

Over 24 hours of battery life

Another feature highlighted by ENGO is battery life. The engo3 Titanium offers at least 24 hours of use per charge, which is particularly impressive for smart glasses.

Connection to various devices is via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). The glasses are compatible with Garmin devices and other devices within the ActiveLook ecosystem.

Two types of lenses are available: a standard version and a photochromic version.

A limited edition starting at €599

The engo3 Titanium is available as a limited edition exclusively on the ENGO website.

The brand has announced availability starting October 6, 2026.
