2026 European Road Championships in Ljubljana: Maps and Course Profiles for the Men’s and Women’s Races

The 2026 European Road Cycling Championships will take place in Slovenia in early October. Four major events for the Elite riders. The women will kick things off with the road race on Saturday, October 3, between Ljubljana and Šenčur, followed by the men’s race on Sunday, October 4, on a course that also starts in Ljubljana. After a few days’ respite, the real test begins on Wednesday, October 7, with the women’s and then men’s Elite individual time trials around Šenčur. With Slovenian roads, a selective course profile, and a strong European field—and following a World Championships in Montreal that delivered a spectacular show—these championships also promise nerve-wracking and demanding races, tailored for riders capable of combining power, positioning, and tactical acumen.
