Castelli is turning a new page with the arrival of the Perfetto 4, Perfetto Pro, and Gabba Pro, all featuring Polartec® AirCore™ technology, which is now at the heart of its winter lineup. Developed in collaboration with Polartec, AirCore™ checks all the boxes: lightweight, breathable, windproof, water-repellent, and—most importantly—designed to prevent overheating, one of the real enemies of cyclists in winter.

Following the success of the Perfetto RoS 3, Castelli is introducing two new models: the Perfetto 4, which is warmer, more insulating, and more versatile; and the Perfetto Pro, designed for speed and intensity.

The Perfetto 4 features a 219 g AirCore™ fabric with a higher loft to provide enhanced insulation between 4 and 12°C. It features a new transparent shoulder strip, a redesigned wind flap, and rear pockets with metal eyelets—a nod to the very first Gabba. No need for ventilation zippers: AirCore™’s breathability does the job.

The Perfetto Pro, on the other hand, features a thinner, more stretchy 150 g AirCore™ fabric, ideal for temperatures between 6 and 14°C for cyclists who ride fast and long. Its race-cut design, transparent shoulder tape, and two-way zipper make it a garment tailored to the pace of the pros—already adopted by Soudal Quick-Step.

The Gabba Pro introduces AirCore™ in a short-sleeve version: same fabric, same close-fitting cut, but in a more aggressive style, available in standard or Race Edition.
These three pieces offer warmth, mobility, and protection against showers, but Castelli notes that for heavy rain, the Gabba R remains the benchmark.

AirCore™ is a unique membrane: PFAS-free, recycled, nearly windproof (0.7 CFM), and nearly waterproof (5,000 mm), designed to let just the right amount of air through. Castelli and Sportful hold the exclusive rights to this technology in cycling, a testament to the brand’s technological leadership. A new generation of jackets for riding fast, far, and well-protected, even as fall turns to winter.
