To mark the 2026 World Championships, Specialized is launching a very limited-edition series of the S-Works Tarmac SL9 in Remco Evenepoel’s colors. Only 100 units will be available worldwide.
Specialized is honoring Remco Evenepoel with a limited-edition S-Works Tarmac SL9. Called the S-Works Tarmac SL9 Remco LTD, this model features the livery worn by the Belgian rider on the Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe team for the 2026 season, with a few additional gold-finished accents.
The Tarmac has long held a central place in Specialized’s road bike lineup. The American brand notes that it is its platform dedicated to competitive performance and that it has more World Championship victories than any other road bike.
An edition directly inspired by Remco’s bike
For this limited edition, Specialized has adopted the Motion + Emotion design developed for Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe in 2026. The design features a stark contrast between the front and rear of the frame: the front section features a deep gold finish, while the rear retains the team bike’s signature white color scheme, complete with its numerous graphic elements.
This edition is presented as a replica of the Tarmac SL9 ridden by Remco Evenepoel, with production limited to 100 units worldwide.
Specialized also highlights the principles that guided the development of the Tarmac SL9. According to the brand, performance isn’t limited to a single characteristic but results from a balance between aerodynamics, weight, and ride quality. This approach is known as the Equation of Speed, with the goal of reducing the time it takes to complete a race.
