At Sea Otter Europe, held September 18–20 in Girona, CYKL is unveiling two new models, each of which explores a rather unconventional path in the world of titanium bicycles. The FAAST is an aerodynamic road bike with a 3D-printed frame, while the 14-speed GRAAVE features a 14-speed drivetrain on a gravel bike designed specifically for bikepacking and long-distance riding.

FAAST: An Aerodynamic Titanium Road Bike
With the FAAST, CYKL is moving away from the traditional image of titanium bikes focused on comfort and long distances. Instead, the new model is designed with aerodynamics in mind, featuring a frame with shapes engineered to minimize air resistance.
Its uniqueness also lies in its manufacturing process. CYKL uses 3D printing to produce the titanium frame—a technology that allows the company to explore shapes and design solutions different from those used on a traditional tubular frame.
The FAAST thus aims to demonstrate that titanium can also be used on a road bike designed with aerodynamic performance as a priority. This is a rather unusual approach, given that the most aerodynamic road bikes on the market are predominantly made of carbon.
The bike is being unveiled to the public for the first time in Girona and can be viewed and test-ridden at the CYKL booth during Sea Otter Europe.

GRAAVE 14-speed: a gravel bike with an extra gear
The second model presented by CYKL takes a different approach. The GRAAVE 14-speed is designed for gravel riding, bike touring, and bikepacking, with a particular focus on the gear range.
As its name suggests, the bike features a 14-speed drivetrain—a configuration still relatively rare on the market. The goal is to offer a wide range of gear ratios while maintaining a single-chainring setup.
This design is specifically intended to address the demands of long-distance rides, where riders may need to switch quickly between fast-rolling sections, long climbs, and more technical sections. The additional gear allows for finer cassette spacing and minimizes the gaps between the different gear ratios.
The 14-speed GRAAVE is therefore quite different from the FAAST: while the former seeks to harness the aerodynamic potential of titanium, the latter uses this material on a bike designed to rack up the miles in a wide variety of conditions.

Two Different Approaches to Titanium
With these two new models, CYKL demonstrates above all that the material does not necessarily limit the bike to a specific use.
The FAAST seeks to combine titanium with a design firmly focused on aerodynamics and a 3D-printing manufacturing process. The GRAAVE 14-speed places greater emphasis on versatility and the use of a drivetrain offering a wide range of gear ratios.
Both bikes will be on display and available for test rides at the CYKL booth (G28.4-F) during the three days of Sea Otter Europe, September 18–20 in Girona.
