Available now, the Zwift Ride V2 builds on the brand’s connected bike design while improving its adjustability. The frame has been slightly compacted to accommodate users ranging from 1.46 to 1.98 m in height.
Adjustable cranks are now included as standard. They allow you to choose from five lengths: 160, 165, 170, 172.5, and 175 mm. The new seatpost design also offers more fore-aft adjustments and, in particular, allows for a more forward saddle position.
The price remains unchanged at €1,199.99 in Europe.
Owners of the original Zwift Ride can purchase the new adjustable cranks and seatpost separately as accessories.

The Zwift Companion app is getting a makeover
A new version of the Zwift Companion app’s home screen is scheduled for October. The goal is to simplify access to key information and better highlight completed activities and progress made.
In particular, the weekly activity chart will be split across two screens to make it easier to track the week and your progress.
Zwift Partners with WHOOP
The WHOOP integration is available now. This connection allows Zwift to take into account recovery data provided by the WHOOP wristband and app.
The goal is to tailor training recommendations based on recovery levels. When a user has a low recovery score, Zwift can suggest a less demanding session to ensure a productive workout without increasing fatigue.
Later this fall, users who have linked their accounts will also be able to view their bike rides and runs completed on Zwift directly in the WHOOP app.

A New Home Screen for the Game
Zwift’s main interface will also receive an update starting September 22. Scheduled activities will be more prominently displayed to make it easier to plan workouts. New indicators will also allow users to view activities scheduled for the week.
Zwift is also announcing the arrival of a new progress widget that makes it easier to track weekly goals, as well as statistics related to progress in the game’s career mode.
Watopia Expands Even Further
One of the most significant new features this season involves Watopia. The expansion, scheduled for October 26, will add approximately 18 kilometers of roads and connect Jarvis to the Jungle.
Inspired in part by California’s West Coast and Catalina Island, this new environment will offer several types of routes. A relatively flat bypass route will allow riders to avoid the Epic KOM, while two new criterium-style circuits will be specifically designed for races.
This expansion will be available in time for the fourth stage of the Tour of Watopia.

Tour of Watopia: October 5–November 22
The Tour of Watopia returns from October 5 to November 22. The 2026 edition will feature double experience rewards as well as a new final challenge.
The fourth stage will allow Zwifters to explore the new Watopia expansion starting October 26.

Watt Lock: Precisely Maintain a Target Power Level
Another new feature announced for October, the Watt Lock function is designed to make it easier to control intensity during free rides. Accessible from the Zwift action bar, this new feature lets you lock your power to a target value by activating ERG mode. The main benefit is the ability to maintain a set power level without having to constantly monitor or adjust your effort.
Users of Zwift controllers—including the Zwift Ride, Zwift Click, and Zwift Play—will be able to adjust the target power directly on the fly.
This feature should be of particular interest to riders who use Zwift for their base endurance or Zone 2 workouts.

Power Play: A New Campaign in November
From November 23 to December 27, Zwift will launch a new campaign called Power Play. It will feature Power Segments across several worlds and climbs, including New York, the Montmartre climb, and The Grade, as well as new segments that will be added to Watopia.
As with other Zwift campaigns, rewards will be available to participants, including virtual gear and Drops.
The Drop Shop continues to expand
Drops, Zwift’s virtual currency earned exclusively by riding, can also be spent on new items in the Drop Shop. Zwift has announced that October will feature a Kona-themed selection, including new triathlon-focused bikes and wheels.
Factor will then make its debut in the catalog, featuring the brand’s bikes paired with Black Inc. wheels. The famous Zwift x Pinarello colorway will also be available for purchase.

Two New “Halo Bikes” Coming at the End of the Year
Zwift will also expand its catalog of the most exclusive virtual bikes.
Halo Bikes are currently available from Specialized, Cannondale, and Pinarello. To earn the right to purchase one of these models, you must have fully upgraded three bikes from the respective brand, which requires spending a certain number of hours on the platform.
Two new models will be released by the end of 2026, this time from Cervélo and Canyon.
Zwift has not yet revealed the specific models and is encouraging users to start leveling up their bikes from these two brands.
Zwift Racing Aims to Expand Continuous Racing
Virtual competition also plays a major role in this new season with the launch of Zwift Racing. The goal is to offer races available around the clock, in several formats: time trials, criteriums, and “Epic”-style events. The first series, called Zwift Racing p/b DURA-ACE, will begin in September.
The Zwift Racing League will also return in September. To make team competitions more accessible, Zwift will offer “Road to Zwift Racing League” rides, designed for new competitors who want to explore the different formats and find a team.
The first season will also feature a new format called “Race of Truth.” This is a mass-start points race without drafting. Riders will therefore have to manage their effort and positioning without being able to take advantage of drafting.
With this new season, Zwift continues to develop its platform along three main lines: simplifying day-to-day use, further personalizing training, and enriching the competitive experience. The Watopia expansion and the new Zwift Ride V2 are the two most visible hardware and environmental updates, while the integration of WHOOP and Watt Lock is expected to significantly change the way users approach their workouts.
