Pinarello unveils a new generation of the X Series, its line of endurance road bikes. More comfortable and versatile, it incorporates several technical features inspired by the Dogma X, while retaining a geometry designed for long rides.

With this new X Series, Pinarello is making significant advancements to its endurance-focused lineup. Positioned below the Pinarello Dogma X, it targets riders who prioritize comfort and the enjoyment of riding long distances over the pursuit of pure performance.
X-Stays 2.0 Seatstays
The main innovation is the X-Stays 2.0, a new version of the dual-arm, four-point-attachment seatstay system. Inspired by the Dogma X, this system features lower anchor points to better disperse vibrations and minimize bounce. The goal is to achieve a smoother, more controlled ride on rough roads.
Pinarello pairs these seatstays with a new adaptive seatpost capable of 10 mm of longitudinal flex. Lighter than its predecessor, it also helps absorb vibrations and shocks.

Three Levels of Carbon
The X Series is available with different carbon structures depending on the model. The X9 and X7 use Torayca T900 carbon fiber, offering a balance between responsiveness, weight, and vibration damping. The X5 and X3 use T700, while the X1 features a T600 construction that prioritizes flexibility.
Another practical new feature: a compartment built into the down tube can hold a small bag containing items such as an inner tube, tools, or snacks, without altering the bike’s overall appearance.
Tire widths up to 40 mm
The new X Series now accommodates tires up to 40 mm wide, significantly enhancing its versatility. This allows riders to take full advantage of modern tubeless tires on roads of varying conditions.
The X9, X7, X5, and X3 also feature an elliptical head tube with fully internal cable routing. Pinarello claims this provides greater torsional stiffness and improved front-end precision, particularly on descents and on uneven surfaces.
The X1, meanwhile, retains the frame architecture of the previous generation, which allows it to remain compatible with traditional mechanical groupsets.
Unchanged Geometry
Unlike the frame architecture, the geometry has changed very little. It remains longer, taller, and more comfortable than that of the Dogma X, with a design geared toward long days in the saddle.
The lineup includes five models, from the X9 to the X1:
- X9: Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 12-speed, MOST Ultrafast 45 DB wheels, €11,000
- X7: Shimano Ultegra Di2 12-speed, MOST Ultrafast 45 DB wheels, €7,900
- X5: Shimano 105 Di2 12-speed, MOST Fast 45 DB wheels, €5,100
- X3: Shimano 105 Di2 12-speed, DT Swiss A1800 DB wheels, €4,500
- X1: Shimano 105 mechanical 12-speed, MOST Fast 27 DB wheels, €3,200
The new X Series is available in several color options depending on the model, rounding out Pinarello’s endurance lineup with a range focused on comfort, versatility, and long distances.
