Hutchinson unveils its new Ultralight TPU inner tube: extremely lightweight and durable for everyday use. Made from high-end TPU, it combines an ultra-lightweight construction with a compact, easy-to-carry design—the perfect upgrade for cyclists looking to save precious grams without sacrificing reliability.

The TPU Ultralight weighs up to 60% less than a traditional butyl inner tube, saving 70 g per wheel (140 g per pair), for a livelier and more responsive ride. TPU also offers lower rolling resistance than traditional butyl, improving speed and efficiency—ideal for race days.

Drawing on Hutchinson’s expertise in tires and inner tubes, the Ultralight TPU is designed for everyday durability, despite its minimalist construction. It features a reinforced molded valve base, designed to withstand repeated bending, minimize leaks, and improve fatigue resistance. The aluminum valve also allows for use with an electric pump, ensuring full compatibility for everyday use. Another advantage: the TPU Ultralight folds down to 50% of its original volume, slipping easily into a jersey pocket or saddle bag—an ideal companion for both training and long rides.
