Having entered the French market more than two decades ago with its direct-to-consumer online sales model, Canyon has since established itself in the French cycling scene. The German brand now intends to further strengthen its presence with a new location in Colmar, in the Haut-Rhin department.
Billed as a true “living space” for the Canyon community, the new site is designed to bring the brand closer to its customers, partners, and cyclists. It brings together several activities that were previously spread across different locations.

An Experience Center dedicated to Canyon bikes
At the heart of the site is an Experience Center, open Monday through Saturday. There, visitors can explore the brand’s various product lines, ranging from road and gravel bikes to mountain bikes, city bikes, and electric models.
The goal is to allow customers to view the bikes and their components, compare different sizes and geometries, and receive advice from Canyon experts. Customers will also be able to configure their future bike or choose the Collect & Ride service, which allows them to pick up their order directly on-site.

A Larger Workshop and Enhanced Customer Service
Canyon is also supporting the Colmar opening by expanding its technical capabilities. The new workshop features more space and state-of-the-art equipment.
It will handle maintenance, periodic inspections, and after-sales service, with the goal of reducing turnaround times as the number of Canyon bikes on the road in France continues to grow.
“For us, these new facilities represent the second stage of the rocket: a springboard that will allow us to further expand our market share in France. But above all, it’s a true work tool that sets the standard for a bicycle brand in our country,” explains Rodolphe Beyer, CEO and founder of Canyon France.

A space also designed for professionals
The new Colmar facility won’t be just for customers. Canyon has set up offices there for its French teams, with spaces designed for hybrid work that can also accommodate international employees visiting the region.
The building also includes a space dedicated to training, content creation, and meetings. With studios for podcasts and videos, technical training sessions for partners, and facilities to host athletes, ambassadors, and the media, Canyon aims to make Colmar a true hub for its French ecosystem.
Opening to the public on September 12
While the Canyon teams have already moved in, the showroom and various services will officially open their doors to the general public on Saturday, September 12, 2026.
With this new location, Canyon aims to move beyond its history of online sales and strengthen its direct connection with French cyclists. This marks a significant evolution for a brand whose business model, more than 20 years ago, helped revolutionize market practices.
