The new Giant and Liv shoe lines mark an ambitious move upmarket: four models, all sharing the same focus on performance, support, and comfort—whether you’re riding on the road, gravel, or XC. Developed around a completely redesigned footbed platform, the Surge Pro, Macha Pro, Charge Pro, and Tesca Pro feature an architecture designed as a complete system.

The Wet Layup carbon sole ensures direct power transfer, while the 3D arch support stabilizes the foot without restricting it.
The pair of BOA Li2 dials allows for precise micro-adjustment, with two independent zones to fine-tune the fit. The wider platform and roomier forefoot reduce pressure points, improving comfort on long rides. The EPS insoles offer a personalized fit thanks to interchangeable inserts.
Giant broadens access to performance with widths tailored to different foot shapes, notably the Surge Pro, available in D and W. Liv applies its women-specific design approach, based on 3D scans: a narrower heel, reduced volume in the forefoot, and optimized toe box space. On the road, the Surge Pro and Macha Pro prioritize stiffness, lightness, and immediate power transfer, featuring a 3-bolt binding system and SRM Power Direct compatibility. For gravel and XC riding, the Charge Pro and Tesca Pro balance performance and walkability thanks to a 2-screw interface and a Giant G1 outsole.
Specialized tread patterns improve traction, mud clearance, and durability. The Surge Pro, developed with Michael Matthews, is designed for maximum connection with the bike. The Macha Pro, tested by Mackenzie Coupland, is geared toward intense road riding. The Charge Pro, developed with Brendan Johnston, combines responsiveness and control on technical terrain. The Tesca Pro, tested by Tessa Neefjes and Melisa Rollins, offers stability and lasting comfort for gravel and XC riding.
Each model is priced at €399, with several matte or glossy color options depending on the version. These four shoes embody a shared vision: transforming every watt into speed without sacrificing comfort. This technological, ergonomic, and aesthetic approach positions Giant and Liv among the market leaders. Whether on the road or off-road, every cyclist can now find a shoe designed specifically for their riding style.
