LOOK Cycle is expanding its high-altitude mountain range with the new 785 HuezRS. This high-modulus carbon bike, billed as the lightest ever designed by the French brand, is aimed at riders seeking maximum efficiency on climbs, while promising balanced handling on all terrains.

LOOK Cycle introduces the 785 HuezRS, a new road bike designed for climbers and fans of high-altitude mountain passes. Built around a high-modulus carbon frame weighing just 830 g in size S, it has a minimum weight of 6.6 kg in its top-of-the-line version.
The new model carries on the spirit of previous Huez models while featuring a completely redesigned construction. Its design emphasizes clean lines with round-section tubes and fully integrated cable routing. The LOOK Aero Carbon Combo handlebar and stem combo combines aerodynamic benefits with adjustability.
Geometry Designed for Long Climbs
According to LOOK, the 785 HuezRS was developed to offer a balance between efficiency, comfort, and handling. Its geometry is designed to support both sharp accelerations and long climbs in a group, without sacrificing performance on descents or on the rolling sections connecting the mountain passes.
The brand also highlights an optimized stiffness-to-weight ratio to enhance acceleration and power transfer, while maintaining a certain level of comfort for long mountain rides.
“We wanted to offer climbers a balance between lightness and power transfer, but also a bike that performs well on descents and on the flats between climbs,” explains Romain Simon, bike product manager at LOOK Cycle.
Performance-Oriented Components
The 785 HuezRS features a carbon frame and fork backed by a lifetime warranty, built on LOOK’s expertise in composite materials. The fork has a claimed weight of 360 g, while the tire clearance allows for tires up to 32 mm in width, improving comfort and traction on a variety of surfaces.
The bike is painted and assembled at the LOOK factory in Nevers, Burgundy. It will be available in Raw Carbon Black/Chrome and Mist Verde colorways.
Price and Availability
The LOOK 785 HuezRS is now available through the brand’s dealer network and on its website.
The frame kit has a suggested retail price of €3,190.
Complete bikes start at €7,490 with a Shimano Ultegra Di2 drivetrain and Fulcrum Speed 25 or Speed 42 wheels, weighing between 7.2 and 7.4 kg. At the top of the lineup, the version equipped with the SRAM RED AXS E1 groupset and Scope Artech 2 wheels is priced at €11,990, with a claimed weight of 6.6 kg.
