Factor is making waves with the unveiling of two exclusive editions of the ONE XXRAY PLUS, inspired by SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star, which are making their debut at the Tour de France Femmes with Zwift. Designed for the Human Powered Health and Ma Petite Entreprise teams, these bikes blend cutting-edge engineering with unapologetic pop culture.

The XXRAY graphics, designed by Jason Freeny, reveal the characters’ imaginary anatomy—a nod to Factor’s philosophy: understanding what lies beneath the surface. On the ONE’s frame, the large aerodynamic surfaces become a true canvas for expression, allowing the illustrations to take center stage in the design.
Jay Gundzik, Global Creative Director, brought this universe to life with a clear ambition: to turn the bike into a rolling piece of pop culture. The result: two editions where performance and whimsy coexist without compromise. In the peloton, these ONE XXRAY PLUS bikes will bring a new, colorful, and unexpected energy, while retaining the aerodynamics and precision for which Factor is renowned.
David Millar sums up the spirit of the project: “Superbikes don’t have to be monochrome to be fast.” By incorporating the world of Bikini Bottom, Factor celebrates creativity, craftsmanship, and self-expression in modern cycling. These limited editions also mark the fifth anniversary of the Tour de France Femmes with Zwift, an ideal opportunity to draw new attention to the sport. Human Powered Health and Ma Petite Entreprise will champion this vision: elite cycling that can be serious, high-performing… and joyful.
