Shimano unveils the new SH-RX710 gravel shoe, a high-performance all-terrain model inspired by the S-PHYRE RX910, designed to make competition-level technologies accessible to a wider range of riders. Whether you’re lining up at the start of a gravel race, exploring remote roads, or setting out on a long-distance adventure, the RX710 offers the power transfer, support, and comfort needed to go farther and faster on all types of terrain.
As gravel riding continues to evolve, riders are increasingly seeking equipment capable of adapting to a wide variety of uses and skill levels. One weekend might be devoted to chasing performance and podium finishes, while the next might be dedicated to discovering new mountain routes. The RX710 was developed to meet these expectations, combining race-oriented efficiency with versatility for long rides.
At the heart of the RX710 is a lightweight, carbon-reinforced midsole with a stiffness rating of 9 out of 12. It provides an efficient pedaling platform that allows cyclists to make the most of every watt while maintaining a high level of comfort during long days on the bike. Its low-stack-height design enhances the connection between the rider and the bike, providing a sense of stability and responsiveness both during accelerations on rolling trails and on more demanding technical sections.

The RX710 also features Shimano’s Pontoon Cleat System, which improves the stability of the interface between the shoe and the pedal while making it easier to walk when dismounting. The result: a more secure engagement and better control as trail conditions change.
The lightweight synthetic leather upper combines breathability, durability, and comfort to support long training rides, competitive efforts, and adventures lasting several hours. The dual BOA® L6Z lacing system allows for precise adjustment via micrometric control and ensures a secure fit that’s easily adaptable to the intensity of the effort or the conditions encountered.
From race attacks to weekend training rides to gravel adventures on remote trails, the new Shimano RX710 is designed to help cyclists go further, ride faster, and discover what lies beyond the next turn.
