To mark the start of the Tour de France in Barcelona, Nimbl and Nike are unveiling Étoile, a limited-edition capsule collection of cycling apparel and footwear, the result of their first product collaboration.

As Barcelona hosts the grand start of the Tour de France, Nimbl and Nike are officially launching Étoile, a limited-edition capsule collection featuring cycling apparel and footwear. Presented at the Barcelona Velodrome in partnership with the Visma | Lease a Bike team, this collaboration marks a new milestone in the relationship between the two brands.
Until now, their partnership had been limited to providing equipment for athletes. Since 2023, Nimbl has supplied the Visma | Lease a Bike team with competition shoes. In 2025, this collaboration expanded to include full cycling outfits, while Nike outfits the riders and staff with its sportswear.
The Étoile collection follows on from a first limited edition launched during the Giro d’Italia, which paid tribute to Jonas Vingegaard and was a huge hit with cycling enthusiasts.
According to both brands, this new line combines Nimbl’s Italian craftsmanship—renowned for its handcrafted high-performance shoes—with Nike’s expertise in innovation, materials, and athlete-centric design.
This collaboration is also made possible by the Pon.Bike ecosystem, of which Nimbl is a part alongside Lease a Bike and Cervélo, the supplier of the bikes used by the Visma | Lease a Bike team.
“This partnership was born out of a shared conviction: in competition, attention to detail is paramount. Together, we’re not just writing a new product page, but a new chapter for cycling,” explains Poppo Hofsteenge, head of the Nimbl-Nike collaboration for Pon.Bike.
For his part, Kieran Ronan, who leads this collaboration at Nike, emphasizes that this partnership reflects the brand’s commitment to “supporting athletes and pushing the boundaries of performance through innovation.”
The Nimbl x Nike Étoile collection has been available in limited quantities since July 2 at select specialty retailers and on Nimbl’s official website.
