To mark its 120th anniversary, Wilier Triestina is opening a new chapter in its history. Founded in 1906 in Bassano del Grappa, the Italian brand is using this celebration to unveil the Filante Ultimate, a model billed as the most exclusive bicycle ever designed by its teams.
This announcement comes amid a favorable economic climate. Wilier Triestina closed the 2025 fiscal year with consolidated revenue of 70 million euros and is entering 2026 with a 7% increase in sales volume compared to the previous year.
“These results are driven by the success of models such as the Filante SLR ID2, Rave SLR ID2, and Rapida, which demonstrate our ability to combine innovation, performance, design, and identity,” said Andrea Gastaldello, CEO of Wilier Triestina. The company is now aiming for a gross operating margin equivalent to 10% of its revenue while continuing to pursue its long-term growth strategy.
A Filante Ultimate Designed Without Compromise
To mark this anniversary, Wilier is unveiling the Filante Ultimate, a highly exclusive series that embodies the best of its craftsmanship.
The bike features a next-generation Toray M40X carbon frame. This frame combines six types of carbon fiber to reduce weight while maximizing power transfer. The brand thus promises a bike that is more responsive during accelerations, precise in changes of pace, and stable at high speeds.
The bike also stands out for its selection of specific components developed for this edition. These include an oversized CeramicSpeed derailleur hanger, a seatpost painted to match the frame’s colors, a Miche X2 chainring, blue-anodized derailleur hangers, and dedicated disc axles and nuts. The package is rounded out by exclusive handlebar tape, a custom aerodynamic kit, and Vittoria tires.

The build is finished off with Deva RD Daylight Silver wheels and CeramicSpeed bottom bracket bearings, designed to optimize smoothness and efficiency.
An International Strategy
Beyond this anniversary, Wilier Triestina has clearly defined growth ambitions. The brand intends to strengthen its presence in the gravel segment, accelerate its expansion outside Europe, and consolidate its positions in its main European markets.
“Our 120th anniversary marks a new starting point as we embark on a new phase of evolution and international development,” says Andrea Gastaldello.
A Celebration Focused on the Future
The festivities took place at Villa Contarini in Piazzola sul Brenta during an evening event titled “120 Years Forward.” The event brought together distributors, partners, ambassadors, and several riders who have left their mark on the brand’s history. It was also on this occasion that the Filante Ultimate was officially unveiled.
An immersive exhibition traced the major milestones in Wilier Triestina’s history and highlighted its philosophy, dubbed “Culture of Speed,” which combines research, innovation, design, and cycling culture. More than just a tribute to its past, this anniversary allowed the Italian brand to reaffirm its commitment to continuing its growth while remaining true to its identity.
