The Évian Triathlon continues to gain momentum. With just over three months to go before the race, the event already has 2,800 registered participants—50% more than during the same period in 2025. This figure confirms the growing appeal of this event, which—in just four editions—has become one of the major events on the French triathlon calendar.

The flagship distances are proving particularly popular. The Lé-Man Full Distance (3.8 km swim, 180 km bike, and 42.195 km run) is nearly full, with fewer than fifteen spots still available. The same trend holds true for the Lé-Man Half Distance (1.9 km swim, 90 km bike, and 21.1 km run), which now has only about 150 spots remaining.

A New Event Hub on the Shores of Lake Geneva

This fourth edition brings a major change to its organization. While race packet pickup and the bike park will remain at the Palais Lumière in Évian-les-Bains, the weekend’s activities will move to Square Henri Buet, better known as Place Rouge.

The exhibitor village, food courts, entertainment, and the finish lines for the various races will all be located at this site on the shores of Lake Geneva, offering a more central setting for both participants and the public.

ISOSTAR Becomes an Official Partner

Another new development is the addition of ISOSTAR to the event’s official partners. The brand, which specializes in sports nutrition, will notably sponsor a challenge called “6 Months to Complete Your First Triathlon,” designed to track the training progress of two amateur athletes.

The project will bring together Maxine Eouzan, a former elite athlete and winner of Koh-Lanta 2021, who will compete in the Olympic distance, and Thomas Glavieux-Moreau, a TV host and sports expert, who will compete in the Lé-Man Half Distance. Both will receive support from elite athletes and a specialized coach.

Routes between the lake and Alpine passes

The event retains what has made it famous: challenging courses set against the backdrop of the Chablais region.

Saturday, September 12, will be dedicated to the long-distance races. The Lé-Man Full Distance will feature a series of the region’s major mountain passes—including the Col de Saxel, the Col de la Ramaz, and the Col du Corbier—following a sunrise start on Lake Geneva. The Lé-Man Half Distance will include the Col du Feu.

On Sunday, September 13, the more accessible events will take center stage. The Olympic race will lead competitors to the Champeillant viewpoint before returning along the shores of Lake Geneva, while the Sprint will allow beginners to discover the sport on a shorter course.

With a sharp rise in attendance, new organizational features, and spectacular courses winding between the lake and the mountains, the Évian Triathlon seems poised to cement its status as a must-attend event to kick off the new sports season.
