MAAP Unveils a Brand-New Jersey for Team Jayco-AlUla for the 2026 Tour de France

The Australian high-end cycling apparel brand MAAP and the WorldTour team GreenEDGE Cycling have unveiled a new limited-edition jersey that will be worn by Team Jayco-AlUla and Liv AlUla Jayco during the 2026 Tour de France and the Tour de France Femmes with Zwift.

Dubbed the “Swap-Out Kit,” this special jersey breaks with the traditional conventions of professional cycling. Unlike uniform changes typically dictated by regulatory constraints or conflicts with the distinctive jerseys of race leaders, this initiative is driven solely by creative vision.

“In professional cycling, changes often occur when regulations require them. We wanted to turn that logic on its head and bring new energy to the peloton through an unexpected and exclusive design,” explains Misha Glisovic, creative director at MAAP.

A Presentation at the Heart of Paris Fashion Week

The launch of this new jersey is part of HYPERFORMANCE, an installation conceived by MAAP for Paris Fashion Week. The event explores the connections between high-level cycling performance, textile innovation, and contemporary design.

Through this initiative, the brand aims to highlight the craftsmanship, technological research, and development of equipment used at the highest level, while bringing the world of cycling into broader discussions about design and culture.

A reimagined design with electric accents

Visually, the new jersey incorporates the graphic identity developed by MAAP and GreenEDGE, centered on the “Aurora” purple and the team’s iconic flame motif. This version, however, stands out with the addition of touches of electric green designed to enhance its visual impact in the peloton.

For GreenEDGE Cycling, which is set to compete in its fifteenth season, this kit also symbolizes an evolution in the team’s image.

“As we embark on our 15th season, we want to continue pushing the boundaries of what a professional cycling team can be. Racing the Tour in this jersey means showcasing our ambition from the very first kilometers,” said Brent Copeland, general manager of Team Jayco-AlUla.

An ultra-limited edition

The jersey will go on sale starting June 30, 2026, on the MAAP website as well as at select MAAP LaB stores worldwide. The brand has announced an extremely limited production run of just 150 pieces. Once stocks are sold out, the design will not be reproduced.

The HYPERFORMANCE installation is open to the public at 36 rue Étienne-Marcel in Paris. The opening reception will take place on June 25 starting at 6 p.m., and the exhibition will be open from June 26 to 28, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
