Continental is introducing a new limited-edition set of road tires to mark the 2026 Tour de France. This special bundle brings together two of the brand’s flagship models: the Aero 111 front tire and the Grand Prix 5000 S TR rear tire.

Designed as a showcase of technology and aesthetics, this duo is available exclusively with transparent (brown) sidewalls, adorned with the official Tour de France logo. The Aero 111 is thus available for the first time in this finish, reserved for this limited-edition pack.

A set designed for racing performance

The pack combines a 29 mm Aero 111 front tire with a 30 mm Grand Prix 5000 S TR rear tire. According to Continental, this combination aims to optimize the balance between aerodynamics, efficiency, and versatility under real-world racing conditions.

The Aero 111 tire was designed to reduce aerodynamic drag—particularly in crosswinds—while improving the sail effect. It has already been used in competition, notably during the 2025 Omloop Het Nieuwsblad by rider Søren Wærenskjold of the Uno-X Mobility team.

The Grand Prix 5000 S TR rounds out the lineup with a competition-focused profile: low rolling resistance, enhanced grip, and proven puncture protection.

Equipment adopted by several WorldTour teams

This limited-edition pack will be used by several Continental partner teams during the Tour de France and the Tour de France Femmes with Zwift, including:

  • Groupama-FDJ
  • UAE Team Emirates-XRG
  • UAE Team ADQ
  • Movistar Team
  • Bahrain Victorious
  • Decathlon CMA CGM
  • Uno-X Mobility

Technology and Design

Like the rest of the Grand Prix 5000 lineup, this limited edition features the BlackChili rubber compound and Vectran puncture protection. Both tires are Tubeless Ready and compatible with hookless rims.

According to Hannah Ferle, road product manager at Continental Tires, this launch aims to bring together two of the brand’s iconic road performance products, combining speed, control, and reliability in an exclusive format.

Availability

The Continental Tour de France Limited Edition 2026 pack will be available internationally through select retailers. The Aero 111 with transparent sidewalls will not be sold separately and will remain exclusive to this pack.

Suggested retail price: €216.95
