Sophie Wright Wins Solo in the Women’s Race

In the women’s 130 km UCI race, Britain’s Sophie Wright delivered a remarkable performance. Riding aggressively, she launched her decisive attack while crossing the military camp, nearly 70 kilometers from the finish.

In the men’s race, the field truly began to separate around the 90-kilometer mark, when a leading group gradually formed among the top contenders.

Reigning French Gravel Champion and member of Gravel Nation, Hugo Drechou drew on his experience to claim victory in 4h00’09’’. The Frenchman held off his pursuers until the very end to win this challenging UCI round.

The young Belgian Jente Michels took a solid second place, while Britain’s Toby Perry, winner of the event in 2023, rounded out the podium after a particularly consistent performance.

The victories of Sophie Wright and Hugo Drechou reward two perfectly executed, aggressive races on the spectacular trails of the Aveyron.
