The British champion crossed the final finish line on Sunday at 3:18 p.m., accompanied by his seven-month-old son Freddie, completing a challenge that had never been attempted before. Over two days, Brownlee completed ten sprint triathlons alongside thousands of amateur athletes participating in the event.

In total, he covered approximately 7.5 km of swimming, 200 km of cycling, and 50 km of running. Each race consisted of a 750-meter swim, a 20-kilometer bike ride on closed roads within the grounds of Blenheim Palace, and a 5-kilometer run.

The main obstacle was not the distance, but the time limits imposed for the start of the swim races. To succeed in his challenge, Brownlee had to maintain a steady pace, with about 75 minutes between each start. After completing six triathlons on Saturday, he had four more to tackle on Sunday with his legs already heavily fatigued.

Despite fatigue and windy conditions on the first day, the Brit picked up the pace on Sunday, even clocking his fastest triathlon of the weekend right off the bat. He started his tenth and final race just minutes before the cutoff time, before completing his historic feat.

Beyond the athletic performance, Brownlee emphasized the importance of his family in this success. Having recently become a father, he explained that his perspective on sports had evolved and that certain things now mattered more than athletic results.

The 2026 edition of the Supertri Blenheim Palace, held on June 6 and 7 at the prestigious UNESCO World Heritage Site in Oxfordshire, marked Supertri’s first year managing the event. It is the largest triathlon in the United Kingdom and one of the largest in the world in terms of participant numbers.
