The Rockets deserved a special edition to celebrate their first appearance in a Grand Tour, and DMT delivered in style. The Italian brand is unveiling a one-of-a-kind version of its KR0 EVO Superlight, designed exclusively for the Unibet Rose Rockets and their adventure at the Giro d’Italia.

Building on the model’s iconic white colorway, DMT adds touches of pink and a stylized rocket—a perfect nod to the team’s identity. Given as a surprise to the riders, these shoes won’t be worn immediately in the race: “You don’t change your shoes in the middle of a Grand Tour,” as Marcel Kittel humorously points out.
The Rockets will therefore continue to ride in the classic white version, but will certainly find a moment to show off this special edition before Rome.
Bas Tietema, true to form, is already promising to wear them: “People will recognize us easily—we’ve got hair on our legs.” ” Fans can already pre-order this edition, with an estimated delivery time of 35 days. The KR0 EVO Superlight remains a model built for speed, developed with Elia Viviani and designed for powerful sprinters like Dylan Groenewegen.
Its construction prioritizes lightness, aerodynamics, and an ultra-precise fit thanks to the dual BOA® Li2 lacing system. The Aeroflex Knit upper offers breathability and flexibility, while the microfiber tongue and TPU strap ensure support and comfort. Underfoot, the Superlight carbon sole maximizes power transfer while weighing just 215 g in size 42. For DMT, this special edition was a natural fit: a flagship product, a partner team competing in the Giro, and the perfect launch on Italian soil. It’s a way to shine a spotlight on an exceptional model while celebrating a team that’s breaking the mold.
