Conceived as an ode to the Giro and long breakaways, the collaboration celebrates cycling as an art of traversing landscapes and communities. At the heart of the project, the legendary Basso Diamante is reimagined in an exclusive GIRO ALPINO livery. Handcrafted in Italy from Toray T40/T30 carbon, its 760-gram frame embodies the Basso legacy in its purest form.

The capsule collection extends to a selection of technical and lifestyle pieces, from jerseys and vests to bib shorts and graphic apparel. Two patchwork creations stand out: a windbreaker and a bike garage, assembled from scraps of high-performance fabric. It’s a way to extend the spirit of the collection to the care taken with the bike itself.

To celebrate the launch, five riders rode from Bassano to Munich in four days, braving rain, snow, and cold. An Alpine crossing where what truly matters remained intact: the road, the encounters, and the thrill of the journey. GIRO ALPINO is available at A Kind of Guise in Munich and Berlin, on akindofguise.com, as well as at Basso Bikes and the Bassano Club House.
