For the upcoming Giro d'Italia, the Soudal Quick-Step team will wear a brand-new kit. This commemorative jersey, unveiled by Castelli, kicks off a series of celebrations marking the 150th anniversary of the famous Italian brand.

Designed as a tribute to its rich heritage, this special kit features a “Vintage Cream” colorway and a unique design incorporating several historic versions of the scorpion logo. The goal: to visually trace the brand’s evolution over the decades, while maintaining a modern aesthetic suited for the highest level of competition.
The Aero Race 8S jersey, the centerpiece of this collection, will be paired with race-proven technical gear, such as the Sanremo 8S Pro Speed suit and the Body Paint V TT Speedsuit. The collection is rounded out by Premio cycling shorts and a Pro Light windbreaker vest, all reimagined for the occasion with commemorative graphic elements.
Specifically, the design stands out for a row of Castelli logos aligned across the back of the jersey, illustrating a visual timeline of the brand’s innovation. Subtle inscriptions on the other pieces also highlight the major technological milestones that have shaped its history.
“We wanted to create a kit that truly reflects Castelli’s 150-year history, both by celebrating our past and remaining true to the brand’s current values,” explains Steve Smith, global brand manager.
With this special jersey, Soudal Quick-Step won’t just be aiming for performance on Italian roads: the team will also be wearing a powerful symbol of cycling’s evolution and textile innovation.
