Founded in 1913, the French brand Dilecta continues its relaunch, initiated in 2021, with the ambition of offering high-end bicycles combining elegance, performance, and durability. In this dynamic, the brand is now expanding its road and gravel range with a new emblematic model: the Samara.

Inspired by the historical DNA of Dilecta and the Forçat model, renowned for its robustness and endurance, the Samara is part of a simple philosophy: to go further, longer, on all terrains.
Designed as a true Monster Gravel, this new bike expands the realm of possibilities. Roads, tracks, technical trails, or self-supported journeys: it is designed to accompany you where infrastructure disappears.

A versatile and committed gravel bike
The Samara stands out for its adaptability. It accepts tires up to 700x60C or 29” x 2.30, offering great configuration freedom depending on usage:
- intermediate tires for fast-rolling gravel
- wide tires for comfort and stability
- knobby tires for technical terrains
This significant volume improves grip, vibration absorption, and stability, especially in loaded configurations. It also allows the use of more robust MTB tires, with the advantage of riding at lower pressure while better protecting the rims from impacts.

A design conceived for travel
The Samara integrates a new Dilecta Aventure carbon fork, equipped with side mounting eyelets and internal routing compatible with dynamo hubs, reinforcing its bikepacking and long-distance orientation.
The frame, made of Reynolds 725 steel, was chosen for its balance of stiffness, comfort, and strength. A material renowned for its durability and its ability to offer stable handling, whether the bike is loaded or not.
Dilecta also favors proven standards to facilitate maintenance and repair: external cable routing, 68 mm bottom bracket shell, UDH derailleur hanger, and single or double chainring compatibility.

A bike that is both modern and timeless
While the Samara incorporates current technical solutions, it maintains a sober and elegant aesthetic. Its timeless lines reflect a commitment to durability, consistent with the brand’s philosophy.
The geometry, designed for comfort and balance, promotes stability on descents and ease of overcoming obstacles, two essential criteria for long adventures off the beaten path.

An “Heritage” edition and an accessible range
The Samara will be offered in an “Heritage” version, featuring a logo inspired by Dilecta’s 1913 identity. The frameset will be available from S to XL at a retail price of €1,449, while the complete bike will be offered starting from €2,990.
With this new model, Dilecta confirms its positioning: that of a French brand focused on endurance, versatility, and long-distance adventure.
