The 2026 BMC Kaius 01 is designed to be faster, more comfortable, more precise… without an extra gram. It pushes the balance between aerodynamics, stiffness, and lightness even further, with a frame kit lightened by 63 g despite increased clearance and features.

Designed for the high speeds of modern Gravel, it incorporates the DNA of the Teammachine R to remain sharp beyond 35 km/h. Stiffness increases by 3%, but it’s the new compliance that changes everything: more control, more grip, more speed. Because yes, comfort makes you faster: a stable bike allows you to maintain an optimal position for hours. Compatible with tires up to 52 mm, it gains in traction and comfort, while remaining lively with tire widths up to 32 mm.

The AeroSynthesis concept guides its development: CFD, wind tunnel, full integration, and airflow optimization.
The Halo fork channels air around the tire, while the AS10 seatpost and compliant Arete seat tube absorb shocks to preserve the body. Optimized carbon layup via FEA combines pedaling stiffness and controlled vertical flex, to stay fresh until the final sprint. The geometry evolves with “magic” numbers: reach reduced by 5 mm, stack increased by 11 mm, trail lengthened by 4 mm, and chainstays +5 mm to maximize traction. Ground clearance gains 10 mm, while the head angle remains unchanged to maintain responsiveness.

Regarding the drivetrain, the Kaius offers total freedom: 1x compatibility, integrated chain guide, chainrings from 32 to 50 teeth, T47x85.5 bottom bracket shell for increased stiffness and clearance.
Cargo features also evolve: next-generation AeroCore bottle cages, a mounting point under the down tube, and a new cargo plate on the top tube. The redesigned down tube optimizes aerodynamics… even with bottles in place. The deep head tube and ICS Carbon Aero cockpit complete a silhouette designed for speed.
