Sport as a central dating criterion
While nearly 38 million French people regularly engage in sports activities, traditional dating platforms continue to prioritize general criteria such as location, appearance, or interests. FitVybe starts from a simple observation: sport reveals essential elements of personality (discipline, relationship to effort, lifestyle, and values).
The application thus proposes to make sport no longer just a hobby, but a real compatibility filter between users.
Profiles built around sports practice
Unlike classic applications, FitVybe offers enriched profiles centered on a sporty lifestyle: disciplines practiced, level, intensity of training, frequency, and relationship to performance.
Advanced filters allow users to refine searches to promote more coherent encounters, beyond the usual superficial criteria.
Encounters also in real life
FitVybe is not limited to digital. The application also plans to organize sporting events throughout France, ranging from fitness sessions to running races or padel matches.
The objective: to allow users to meet in a natural context, in motion, and to create bonds around a shared effort.
A sports ecosystem beyond dating
Beyond matchmaking, FitVybe aims to become a true ecosystem dedicated to athletes. The platform will integrate:
- A partner space with discounts on sports brands (Adidas, Garmin, Decathlon, Nutrimuscle, Fitness Park, etc.)
- Editorial and audio content on sport, nutrition, and personal development
- Eventually, a social network focused on sharing performance and daily sports life
- An ambition: 30,000 users in the first year
The team aims for 30,000 users in the first year, driven by a growth strategy based on social networks, partnerships, and the regular organization of sporting events.
The stated objective is to become the leading dating community dedicated to athletes in France.
Two founders from the field
FitVybe is co-founded by Sonia Silvente, an entrepreneur and lawyer by training, also active in insurance brokerage and photography, and Sonia Alaya, an athlete and head of marketing and digital strategy.
The two partners met at CrossFit and share a common vision: to put sport and the values of self-transcendence back at the center of human relationships.
