At the end of March, the season kicked off on Brazilian roads with the 555 Serra Geral, won by former professional cyclist Pierre Rolland. An intense start that bodes well for a challenging competition ahead.
Two Formats in the Heart of the Atlas
For the fourth consecutive year, the circuit stops in Morocco, confirming the country’s appeal for ultracycling. Two gravel events are on the program:
- BikingMan Morocco: 1,000 km (starts April 26)
- 555 Morocco: 500 km (starts May 1)
The 2026 routes offer new sections, designed to provide total immersion in the varied landscapes of the Atlas. Between technical trails, high-altitude passes, green valleys, and mineral scenery, participants will ride in ideal conditions for this time of year.

A Strong Field of Athletes
Several major figures of the discipline will be at the start, strengthening the sporting interest of this Moroccan stage. Among the expected athletes:
- Abdellah Hida, winner in 2024 and the first Moroccan to win the event
- Rémi Borrion, a circuit regular with numerous victories
- Erwann Guenneugues, specialist in 500/555 km formats
- Benjamin Bodot, defending champion 2025
- Jonas Santos, who will attempt a double by participating in both races
Their presence promises intense confrontations on demanding terrain.
A Unique “Unsupported” Adventure
True to its DNA, BikingMan remains a fully self-supported competition: participants must manage their own route, resupply, and rest. A format that attracts an ever-growing international community.
The organization speaks of « an exciting new chapter », highlighting still unexplored routes and an exceptional natural setting.
Registrations Open and 2026 Calendar
Registrations are available on the official event website, with a limited number of spots to preserve the quality of the experience.
The 2026 season will then continue with several international stages:

- Côte d’Azur: June 21 to 28
- Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes: July 26 to August 2
