Canyon unveils the all-new Endurace CFR

Canyon unveils its latest creation: the Endurace CFR, a new kind of thoroughbred, designed around a simple yet revolutionary idea: the more confidence and comfort a bike inspires on the most chaotic terrain, the faster and longer it allows you to go.

Developed hand-in-hand with Alpecin–Premier Tech, the Endurace CFR was born under pressure from the pros. In an era where tires are getting wider and riders are literally flying over cobbles, this bike becomes the secret weapon to deploy when conditions turn into a nightmare.

“The most important thing for us is reliability. The bike has to be fast, it has to be good. But when you ask riders to take risks, it must above all be reliable.” Christoph Roodhoft, Team Manager Alpecin – Premier Tech

Built to tame the worst conditions
The Endurace CFR is in a league of its own. A direct heir to the technologies of the Aeroad CFR – the bike with which Mathieu van der Poel won the last three editions of Paris-Roubaix – it pushes robustness and performance even further, without ever sacrificing speed.

What makes it unique:

– Reinforced CFR Carbon: Toray T1100/T800 fibers and exclusive YS80 fibers for +10% head tube stiffness. A direct demand from the pros for violent efforts and precision on cobbles.
– 35 mm tire clearance: perfect for new generations of fast, wide tires, with over 4 mm of margin for mud evacuation.
– 205 W in the wind tunnel: at 45 km/h, the Endurace CFR is only 1 watt behind the Aeroad CFR, the absolute benchmark.
– Hardcore components: Made in Germany titanium screws, double-sealed ceramic bearings… ready for the hell of the North.
– Extreme tests: increased loads, simulated impacts, maximum stresses… Canyon pushed tests far beyond industry standards.
– Unprecedented aerodynamic comfort: VCLS Aero seatpost: a world first. An aerodynamic seatpost that offers +25% vertical flex compared to a rigid version.
– Race Fit Geometry: the same Sport Pro Geometry as the Aeroad and Ultimate, to switch from one race bike to another without adaptation.
– PACE Cockpit: height and width adjustments with a single tool, three drop shapes, zero brake bleeding, zero steerer tube cutting.
– New RACE Bar: more aggressive, more aerodynamic, 120 g lighter, and 2 W gained at 45 km/h.
– Designed for modern performance: shortened cranks: Canyon’s first road range to fully switch to shorter lengths (165 mm in size M), to open the hip angle, reduce stress, and facilitate cadence.
– MyCanyon Program: full customization from launch in Europe.

Already victorious on the cobbles
The Endurace CFR didn’t wait to shine.
Carys Lloyd (Movistar Team) led it to victory at the Ronde van Brugge, before Mathieu van der Poel delivered a stunning performance with a 70 km attack to win the E3 Saxo Classic.
As Paris-Roubaix approaches, Canyon riders – Alpecin-Premier Tech, Movistar Team and CANYON//SRAM – will have the choice between the triple-winning Aeroad CFR and this brand new Endurace CFR, depending on the day’s conditions.
