BAYMAN 2026: record opening and confirmed international reach

The opening of registrations for the 2026 BAYMAN edition confirms the event’s growth in the heart of Mont Saint-Michel Bay. As early as January, the M and L formats sold out in just a few hours. With nearly 300 athletes already registered six months before the event, the XXL format has reached an unprecedented level since the creation of BAYMAN in 2022, already surpassing the number of participants in the 2025 edition.

A booming international dimension for the XXL

Today, 25% of registered participants come from abroad. This progression demonstrates the growing attractiveness of BAYMAN beyond French borders and confirms its role among the major long-distance events at the end of the season.

The XXL format is asserting itself as a highlight of the calendar. Several clubs have already planned collective participation for 2026. To support this dynamic, the organization offers a sliding scale fee for two registered athletes, with enhanced benefits for four and then six participants. This initiative promotes team spirit and sporting emulation within clubs.

A strengthened framework for 2026

In consultation with the Public Establishment of Mont-Saint-Michel and state services, the organization has strengthened its system to further raise the level of requirements in terms of safety and exemplary site management.

The 2026 edition is part of a dynamic of continuous professionalization, in line with the requirements of an event organized in Mont-Saint-Michel Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
