Cinelli revisits its bar tape collection

Forty years after revolutionizing handlebar tape with its legendary EVA cork model, Cinelli brings its heritage up to date with a brand new collection.

The Italian brand, always at the forefront of performance and style, unveils a range designed for both road and gravel.
Following its recent innovations – including the Aeroscoop, its new aerodynamic frame – Cinelli has focused on a key element of comfort: handlebar tape.

The collection returns with a new name, vibrant packaging, and above all, two new models: Gravel Travel for adventure, and Pro Race for cyclists who push their limits. These new additions join the classic Cork and Cork Gel, true benchmarks since 1987. At the time, Cinelli set an unprecedented standard for vibration absorption and comfort.
Today, the brand reinvents this icon by blending modern materials and historical know-how. “It’s a return to our roots that speaks to a new generation,” emphasizes Victor Luis, president of Cinelli. Each model has been redesigned to offer grip, comfort, and durability, without ever sacrificing aesthetics.

The Gravel Travel features increased density and a washable suede feel, ideal for long off-road rides. The Chubby version doubles the amount of gel for maximum cushioning. The Pro Race, thinner and lighter, offers high-grip and a 3D texture for optimal control. The classic Cork and Cork Gel remain true to their DNA: absorption, lightness, and a natural feel.
