The Scott Addict RC is already a featherweight. Yet, for Dangerholm, it was just a starting point. The Swiss custom builder now unveils the lightest modern road bike ever produced.

Dangerholm now reveals a machine that challenges the idea that extreme lightness and contemporary performance are incompatible.
Starting with an Addict RC already built for speed, Dangerholm hunted down every superfluous gram without sacrificing current standards of stiffness, braking, or comfort. The result: a bike under the 5 kg mark, ready for daily use and without technical compromises.

The Addict RC SUB5 retains a 2×12 electronic drivetrain, minimum 28 mm tires, wide wheels, and a one-piece aerodynamic cockpit.
Even accessories – pedals, bottle cages, bike computer mount – are included in the final weight. A challenge met without sacrificing reliability, despite the constraints imposed by such an extreme build.
Dangerholm reminds us that while the quest for weight had lost some of its luster in the face of aerodynamic trends, modern technologies had never before allowed for such a combination of lightness and performance. This SUB5 demonstrates just that.
