Milan-Sanremo 2026: Route, Entrants, Favorites

Milan–Sanremo, the first major classic of the season, takes place this Saturday, March 21, 2026, over nearly 300 km on the traditional route (Turchino, Capi, Cipressa, Poggio). The race remains unpredictable despite its rolling terrain, with the outcome usually decided in the very final kilometers. The clear favorite is Mathieu Van der Poel (Alpecin-Premier Tech), facing off against Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates-XRG), who is still seeking his first victory in this Monument. Filippo Ganna (INEOS Grenadiers) and a few sprinters could capitalize on an alternative race scenario. Check out the route, TV broadcast details, and the list of entrants for the 117th edition of Milan-Sanremo.
