The end of winter is often when motivation is intact… but energy starts to wane. Lots of training, lots of travel, little sleep, continuous mental pressure. It is precisely in this grey area that we tested, for a month, Nutripure’s powdered Vitamin C and Neuromagné². Not to go faster. But to hold up better.

The context that changes everything
We ride, we race, we train almost every day. In parallel, we operate in a demanding professional environment, involving training, travel, hotel hours, and constant concentration. This combination fatigues the nervous system as much as the body. And this is often where supplements go wrong: they target muscles when the problem is neurological.
Every year, as spring approaches, we observe the same thing: a diffuse drop in energy, less restorative sleep, and increased susceptibility to small seasonal viruses. This time, we decided to anticipate.

Why this duo interested us
The combination is simple and coherent. Vitamin C for immune support, recovery, and overall resistance. Magnesium for the nervous system, stress, and sleep quality. Two complementary levers that respond exactly to this time of year.
This is not the first time we have collaborated with Nutripure. This French laboratory has built a reputation on the quality of its raw materials, the clarity of its formulations, and an approach free of marketing gimmicks. A philosophy that perfectly matches that of 3Bikes.
Who is Nutripure, really?
Behind these two products is a French laboratory that we know well at 3Bikes. Nutripure does not build its formulas around a marketing argument, but around a simple principle: the quality of raw materials and the real bioavailability of the forms used. No gimmicks, no spectacular promises, no unnecessary ingredients to “look pretty” on the label.
This is precisely what we have appreciated in their approaches over several collaborations: each formulation responds to a clear physiological logic. Here, Vitamin C is not there to “boost,” but to support immune function and recovery. Magnesium is not for muscles, but for the nervous system.
This consistency between the athlete’s real need and the product’s proposed solution is rare enough to be highlighted.
The protocol followed for one month
We applied a strict routine, identical every day for four weeks.
In the morning, at breakfast: 1 level dose of powdered Vitamin C (1000 mg) diluted in a large glass of water.
Neuromagné²: 4 capsules per day. The official recommendation suggests splitting them into two doses, morning and evening, to smooth the intake over the day. In our actual use, we chose to take them all at once in the evening, 30 to 45 minutes before bedtime. This option proved particularly consistent with the desired objective: to promote nocturnal nervous recovery, improve falling asleep, and enhance sleep quality.
Powdered Vitamin C: the simplicity that changes the routine
The choice of powder might seem anecdotal. It isn’t. A spoon, a glass of water, done. No tablet, no capsule. Neutral taste, no digestive discomfort.
After a week, we felt a new stability. Fewer energy dips in the late morning. Less of that mental fog feeling in the late afternoon. Nothing spectacular. Just an impression that the body is coping better.

Neuromagné²: the effect on the nervous system
Magnesium, we thought we knew. In reality, we mostly knew the poorly absorbed forms. Here, bisglycinate combined with threonate (Magtein®) changes the game.
After about ten days, the effects became very clear: faster falling asleep, deeper sleep, gentler waking. Above all, a diffuse nervousness that often accompanies busy periods diminished. The nervous system gradually emerged from its permanent overdrive.

What really appears after three weeks
It’s the gradual nature that makes this test interesting. We realized that we recovered better from sessions, that professional days exhausted us less, and that mental clarity remained present longer. And above all, we didn’t get sick, which usually happens almost systematically during this period.
These products don’t “boost.” They prevent collapse.
3Bikes’ advice
Start the course before the period of fatigue, not when it has already set in. Respect the regularity of intake. Take Vitamin C in the morning to support the day. Even if the recommendation suggests splitting the magnesium morning and evening, we found it much simpler, and perfectly consistent, to take all 4 capsules at once in the evening, 30 to 45 minutes before bedtime. This means only having one thing to think about in the morning (Vitamin C) and one in the evening (magnesium). The most effective approach is to leave both containers within sight, near the bedside or in the kitchen, so that the routine becomes automatic. Do not look for an immediate effect: it is the gradual nature that ensures effectiveness.
The 3Bikes verdict
This duo does not provide artificial energy. It provides stability. It allows one to get through a demanding period without falling into exhaustion. For athletes also subjected to a high mental load, this is exactly the right approach.

To conclude,
There are supplements that promise to make us stronger. These primarily helped us not to become weaker. And that’s a huge nuance. Because in our modern lives, between training, work, travel, lack of sleep, and this permanent mental pressure that we end up considering normal, true performance sometimes simply consists of staying at the same level when everything around us tries to bring us down.
This month with Nutripure’s Vitamin C and Neuromagné² didn’t give us the impression of taking something. It gave us the impression of better coping with what we were already doing. And ultimately, perhaps that’s the best indicator. We didn’t feel “boosted.” We felt stable. And when energy is historically at its lowest point of the year, this stability is well worth all the artificial boosts in the world.
What we liked & What we liked lessPros: extremely absorbable forms that truly make a difference, total absence of digestive discomfort, sustained energy stability throughout the day, clear improvement in sleep and nervous calm, simplicity of use of powdered Vitamin C. Cons: having to take 4 magnesium capsules per day, a constraint that could be avoided with a different concentration, a routine that requires daily discipline to be effective. Price:
