Cannondale unveils the all-new SuperSix EVO: lighter, faster, more powerful.

Cannondale introduces the fifth generation of the SuperSix EVO, its iconic race model, completely redesigned to offer unprecedented performance. Lighter, more aerodynamic, and more precise, the new EVO establishes itself as the most advanced road bike ever designed by the brand.

The SuperSix EVO has always pursued a clear objective: to go faster, on all terrains and in all situations. Uphill and downhill, in sprints and long breakaways, it has built its reputation on a rare combination of lightness, aerodynamics, and instinctive handling. With this fifth generation, Cannondale takes a new step forward by further reducing weight and drag, while maintaining the balance and precision that made the model legendary.

The result is spectacular: the lightest disc frame and fork ever developed by the brand, combined with even more efficient aerodynamics in real-world conditions. The bike that was already one of the fastest in the peloton simply becomes faster everywhere.

Developed at the highest level

The evolution of the SuperSix EVO is intimately linked to the work carried out with the WorldTour teams EF Education-EasyPost and EF Education-Oatly. These teams, known for their audacity and unconventional approach, have contributed, year after year, to refining every detail of the bike. Countless hours of testing, field feedback, and prototyping have led to a perfectly balanced machine, capable of attacking in the mountains, dominating a sprint, or remaining stable at very high speeds. The fifth-generation SuperSix EVO has thus become the most advanced and highest-performing race bike ever designed by Cannondale.

Lightness, aerodynamics, and control

Designed for road racing, the SuperSix EVO combines minimal weight with advanced aerodynamic optimization. Tube shapes have been developed using CFD modeling and validated in a wind tunnel to reduce drag in real-world conditions, where every watt saved makes a difference.

The fork perfectly illustrates this quest for efficiency, weighing approximately 392 g in Series 0 version, 414 g in Hi-MOD, and 427 g in standard carbon. This mass reduction directly contributes to the bike’s responsiveness, especially uphill and during accelerations.

The geometry, meanwhile, strikes a subtle balance between responsiveness and stability. The handling is lively in changes of direction while remaining perfectly controllable at high speeds. This combination offers a feeling of total control, making every ride smoother and more intuitive.

A design adapted to every cyclist

Thanks to Proportional Response technology, each frame size benefits from a specific carbon construction and fiber layup. The objective is to offer a level of stiffness and power transfer adapted to the cyclist’s morphology, so that the sensations remain consistent, regardless of the size chosen. The bike thus works in perfect harmony with its user.

Tire clearance reaches 32 mm, with at least 4 mm of additional space on each side. This capacity improves comfort and reduces rolling resistance, while maintaining a high level of performance.

Integration and aerodynamic gains

Integration plays a central role in the SuperSix EVO’s performance. The Delta steerer tube, exclusive to Cannondale, allows for fully integrated cable routing while reducing the frontal area. The result is both visually cleaner and more efficient against the wind.

The new CarbonGrip Aero bottle cages also contribute to overall optimization. Designed from injected carbon, they reduce weight by approximately 26% while improving bottle retention. Their design integrates perfectly with the frame’s lines, further limiting drag. They are offered on LAB71 and Hi-MOD models, among others.

The SystemBar cockpit completes this approach. The Road version combines a truncated airfoil profile section with a narrow top, promoting a more aerodynamic position, while maintaining a slight lateral flare for precise and predictable handling. The SystemBar Road SL version, dedicated to the lightest builds, weighs approximately 260 g and is aimed at those who chase every superfluous gram.

A range designed for every ambition

The SuperSix EVO range covers all profiles, from WorldTour competitors to demanding enthusiasts. LAB71 models embody the pinnacle of performance with the brand’s most advanced Series 0 carbon construction, while SuperSix EVO 1 versions rely on Hi-MOD technology to offer a level of performance close to professional standards.

Intermediate models, from 2 to 5, offer a balance of speed, reliability, and premium quality, while the SuperSix EVO 6 builds on the proven frame of the previous generation to offer a high-performance and accessible entry point.

A new build strategy also introduces SL versions, available on LAB71 and level 1 models. These variations prioritize maximum lightness thanks to ultra-light wheels and the SystemBar Road SL, offering instant accelerations and particularly sharp sensations. Other models place more emphasis on aerodynamic efficiency with profiled wheels and a one-piece cockpit oriented towards pure speed.

The DNA of the SuperSix EVO

Lighter, more aerodynamic, and still as precise, the fifth-generation SuperSix EVO pushes the boundaries of road performance even further. It embodies a modern vision of the race bike: a machine capable of offering speed, control, and versatility on every ride.
