KASK Elemento, our second look, three years later

There are products we test. And then there are those we revisit. At 3bikes, we discovered the Elemento at its launch in 2023, then Guillaume Judas had dissected it in depth in 2024. In February 2026, we return to it. Not by chance. By confirmed curiosity. Because in the meantime, we’ve ridden. A lot. With other helmets. Often with the KASK Protone, several colors of which are still sleeping in our closets. And that’s precisely why this second test makes sense: we know very well where we’re starting from. This time, the Elemento arrives in Oxford Blue, size M. A deep, almost editorial shade, which perfectly matches the 3bikes DNA: understated, racy, technical.

A Presence That Doesn’t Seek to Impress

There are two ways to design a high-end helmet. The first is to show that it performs: taut lines, demonstrative air intakes, visual signatures that scream aerodynamics and technology. The second, rarer, is to make you forget it’s there. The KASK Elemento clearly belongs to this second category. At first glance, nothing seeks to capture attention. The design is clean, almost understated. The volumes are balanced, the openings measured, the overall silhouette highly coherent. One could almost pass it by without realizing that one is holding in one’s hands one of the most technically accomplished helmets on the market. And that’s precisely what makes it interesting, because the Elemento doesn’t claim, it suggests.

When placed, it doesn’t seek to impress. That’s precisely what catches the eye.

An Object Conceived as a Whole

What’s striking is the feeling of dealing with an object designed as a whole, and not as the addition of juxtaposed technical solutions. Nothing seems added just to tick a box on a marketing sheet. Every element seems to have been designed in relation to the others. The external shape dialogues with the internal structure, the vents respond to the channel design, the occipital retention system integrates naturally with the rear geometry. Everything gives the feeling of a product thought out before being manufactured. In the field, this conceptual coherence translates into coherence of use.

When worn, the Elemento disappears. Understated profile, perfect retention, no visual excess.

On the Head: The Absence of Disturbance

As soon as we place the Elemento on our head, a very particular sensation appears. Not that of a helmet that protects, not that of a helmet that ventilates, not that of a helmet that squeezes, but that of a helmet that doesn’t interfere. No hard spots at the crown of the head, no lateral pressure at the temples, no tension at the forehead. The helmet is placed with almost disconcerting ease, then comes the moment of adjustment with the rear OctoFit+, of remarkable precision. A few clicks are enough; the occipital retention gently cradles the base of the skull without ever constricting. You adjust, release your hands, and the helmet already seems to be a part of you. There’s no spectacular effect, there’s something far more precious: naturalness.

A Color That Goes Beyond Simple Aesthetic Choice

Among the 6 colors offered by KASK, this Oxford Blue version is not a detail for us. It fits perfectly with the 3bikes visual theme: understated, elegant, technical, without ever being ostentatious. This deep blue gives the helmet a particular personality on the road. It doesn’t seek to attract attention, but it asserts a style. A helmet you want to pair with a beautiful bike, a neat outfit, an outing where everything is coherent. It’s not just a question of shade, it’s a question of identity.

From the front, the ventilation appears measured. On the road, it proves to be remarkably effective.

Pressure Distribution, a Decisive Detail

Many helmets give an impression of immediate comfort. Few retain this impression after two hours, even fewer after four. The Elemento belongs to this latter category. This is due to an often underestimated point: pressure distribution. The contact between the head and the helmet is never concentrated on one area. Loads are distributed homogeneously thanks to the internal architecture and the Multipod padding combined with merino wool. This blend brings two very concrete benefits: perfect stability and natural thermal regulation. The helmet stays in place, never requiring micro-adjustment, even when perspiration increases and the heat rises. On the road, this translates into simple behavior: we don’t touch the helmet.

The secret to long-lasting comfort is hidden here: Multipod structure and merino wool work together.

Ventilation That Works in Silence

The Elemento doesn’t give the impression of being an extremely ventilated helmet, and yet it is. The magic happens inside. Deep channels, combined with the 3D-printed internal structure, guide air through the helmet rather than simply around the head. Air circulates constantly, but without ever creating that sensation of cold draft sometimes found on very open models. We feel a constant, almost imperceptible breath, ventilation that works in silence. The performance is there, but it never manifests brutally.

A Weight That Disappears

Around 260 grams in size M, the Elemento is not the lightest helmet on the market on paper. But on the head, this data becomes totally abstract, because the weight is perfectly distributed. There is neither a forward tilting effect nor a sensation of rear mass. The center of gravity is ideally positioned. Result: the helmet very quickly disappears from our bodily perception. In long-distance cycling, this is an immense advantage.

Reassuring Stability in Dynamics

When speed increases, when the road deteriorates, when accelerations follow one another, some helmets show micro-movements. The Elemento, however, remains unperturbed. The combination of the internal structure, occipital retention, and overall design creates a stability that immediately inspires confidence. The helmet accompanies head movements without ever being subjected to them.

The OctoFit+ allows for fine, precise adjustment, almost invisible once in place.

Key Field Use

When a helmet makes you forget it’s there from the very first kilometers, the ride already starts in the best possible conditions. With the Elemento, this feeling arrives very quickly.

3bikes Verdict 2026 Version

The KASK Elemento doesn’t seek to impress, it seeks to function perfectly. It doesn’t attract attention, it accompanies the effort. This ability to disappear while ensuring an exceptional level of comfort, stability, and ventilation is, in our opinion, the most accomplished form of sophistication.

Delivered with its protective bag, the Elemento reminds us that we are clearly in the high-end.

In conclusion,

What we take away from this experience is neither an isolated characteristic, nor technical data, nor a commercial argument. It’s a global, persistent impression that accompanies us throughout the ride: that of a helmet designed with enough intelligence never to disturb the essential. This functional invisibility is a rare quality.

The KASK Elemento in brief…

The + : total versatility, impeccable Italian finishes, stunning ventilation without drafts, long-lasting comfort, very reassuring feeling of security, and that Oxford Blue look that turns heads without overdoing it.

The – : glasses storage on the helmet not always intuitive, and a clearly premium price… but justified.
