On June 6 and 7, 2026, La Stelvio Santini will make its grand return to Alta Valtellina, with an enriched program including the launch of a new gravel event. Among the highlights of the weekend, the “couple” formula stands out as a unique way to experience the event together — whether with a partner, a friend, or a family member.

An experience to share, beyond performance

Offered at the preferential rate of €125 per person, couple registration allows participants to take on the Stelvio challenge together, a symbol of self-transcendence and passion for cycling. As Valentine’s Day approaches, this formula becomes an original gift idea, combining sport, emotions, and unforgettable memories.

To make the event accessible to as many people as possible, participants registered for the short course will also have the option to ride an electric-assist bike. This choice opens the door to more profiles and strengthens the spirit of sharing at the heart of the event.

To celebrate this shared commitment, a special prize will be awarded to all couples crossing the finish line together at the summit of the Stelvio, rewarding a challenge met hand in hand, to the very last meter.

La Stelvio Santini: an unmissable event for amateur cycling

A benchmark event in the international amateur cycling calendar, La Stelvio Santini offers three road courses, adapted to different levels of practice:

130 km (4,270 m of positive elevation gain)
108 km (3,050 m of positive elevation gain)
64 km (2,280 m of positive elevation gain)

Every year, thousands of cyclists from all over the world gather in Bormio to attempt the mythical ascent of the Stelvio Pass. Starting with the 2026 edition, the event will also be enhanced with a gravel course, offering a new way to discover the spectacular landscapes of Alta Valtellina.
