Shoes, bikes, accessories, and equipment: new gear is multiplying and covering all uses, from road to gravel, including training and ultra-distance. Design, technical evolutions, performance, and durability are at the heart of these announcements. Here’s an overview of the latest significant releases.
Nimbl Unveils its 2026 Cycling Shoe Collection
The Italian brand Nimbl presents its 2026 range with a marked aesthetic restyling, without any compromise on performance. The iconic models now feature a white toe and heel integrated into the upper, while the model name is proudly displayed on the heel next to the logo, reinforcing the brand’s visual identity and racing spirit. The popular Glide and Air officially join the PRO range, aligned with the standards of shoes favored by top-level athletes. Technically, nothing changes: ultra-rigid monocoque carbon sole (available in 3 or 4-bolt), optimal ventilation, preserved lightness, and maximum power transfer. BOA® systems remain the norm, except on the Ultimate Air which retains its minimalist lace-up design. The collection is already available for pre-order on nimbl.cc and at selected retailers.

Les Ateliers Gonnel Unveil V2 of Their Wood and Composite Bikes: A French Revolution
Founded in 2022 in La Rochelle by Benjamin Boissier, a naval engineer, Les Ateliers Gonnel push the boundaries of high-end cycling with wood/composite fiber frames inspired by nautical design. The V2 version, the result of extensive work with Vibratec, optimizes the structural architecture for more homogeneous behavior: increased responsiveness during accelerations, surgical precision, and still exceptional vibration filtering. Major new features: flat mount brakes, carbon rear dropouts, universal UDH hanger, and, on the Embrun gravel bike, tire clearance up to 45 mm. Manufactured individually in France with ultra-local sourcing (Poitevin-Charente wood, Norman flax, biosourced resin), these bikes combine performance, elegance, and eco-responsibility. The first V2 deliveries are underway; the order book is full until May 2026. Contact: lesateliers-gonnel.com
