Danish triathlete Magnus Ditlev, one of the dominant forces on the long-distance circuit, has just extended his partnership with SCOTT for an additional four years, until the end of 2029. The 28-year-old Dane will therefore continue to rely exclusively on SCOTT aerodynamic frames, shoes, and Syncros components in his quest for the IRONMAN World Championship title, a victory that would make him the first Dane to claim this mythical crown.
An Already Impressive Track Record
Since his professional triathlon debut in 2019, Magnus Ditlev has rapidly climbed the ranks. Transitioning from middle-distance to long-distance events, he has established himself as one of the most complete and consistent triathletes of his generation.
His most notable achievements include: three consecutive victories at Challenge Roth (2022, 2023, 2024), setting course records in 2023 and 2024; victory at the very first edition of the T100 Triathlon in Miami in 2024, demonstrating his versatility on the new premium circuit. In 2025: a dominant victory at IRONMAN South Africa (with course and bike records), a solid 8th place at IRONMAN Frankfurt, and a 6th place at the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championships.
At the major IRONMAN global event, his performances speak for themselves: bronze in 2023 in Hawaii, followed by a superb silver medal in Kona in 2024, the best result ever achieved by a Danish athlete in the history of the event.
“Continue to Push the Limits”
“I am extremely motivated for the years to come. With SCOTT, we have built a winning collaboration based on trust and innovation. My goal remains clear: to become IRONMAN World Champion. This extension gives me the stability needed to focus 100% on this goal,” said Magnus Ditlev.
From SCOTT’s side, the enthusiasm is just as strong: “Magnus perfectly embodies the values of performance, power, and consistency that we stand for. His progression is impressive, and we are convinced that together, we can aim even higher.”
With this signing until 2029, Magnus Ditlev secures an ideal framework to transform his status from a serious contender to an undeniable favorite in the major IRONMAN and T100 races of the coming seasons.
